Assessment of Financial Security of SMEs Operating in the Renewable Energy Industry during COVID-19 Pandemic

Today, one of the main priorities in Europe is to introduce measures increase environmental protection. Therefore, SMEs operating branch related renewable energy are essential for several EU priorities. can also be vulnerable, especially during times crisis, which could negatively affect development. this paper aims evaluate and analyze financial security management COVID-19 pandemic. The research conducted on sector Poland. periods 2019 (before crisis) 2020 (during crisis). By analyzing different performance ratios, we found that have been able stabilize maintain their current economic position compared past. results study indicate receivables collection period, cash conversion cycle, cycle insignificantly shorter crisis. Furthermore, stronger security, adopted a conservative policy share accounts receivable assets has significantly reduced COVID-19. In contrast, an insignificant liquidity, quick inventory turnover observed. general, Polish chosen adopt strategies better liquidity security.
